    I remember a Winchester drive c. 1984
    About the size of a washing machine, 80Mb storage with the top platter (c. 24 inch diameter) removable for backups etc
    That was attached to a Wang MVP/2200 with 256 Kb RAM (hard split among the terminals)

              Thanks for the support, guys. I'm just getting frustrated trying to figure out if the problems are just me being dense and not understanding how things work after the upgrade or if they're in fact real problems. I'm going to stick it out for now, so I'll just grit my teeth and roll with it along with the rest of you.
