  • New System Administrator audio podcast from Ben Rockwood

There's a new podcast out that focuses on SysAdmin topics. It's by a fellow named Ben Rockwood. The first episode is a hourlong roundtable discussion with two other SAs that brings up some good topics.

    Here's a quote from Ben's blog entry:
In the podcast we'll use one of two formats, classic 1-on-1 interview style and a round-table discussion format. This episode is the latter.

Together with Joe Moore of Siemens and Mark Imbriaco of 37signals we discuss the following questions:

What is the mark of a good SA?
    What are the essential qualifications?
Does formal education and/or certs matter?
I found it interesting, but I think it could stand some refinement... which I'm sure will take place over the coming episodes. Give it a listen and maybe get involved.
