Ah yes, football. A game played by REAL men!

WAIT A MINUTE!! I just looked at the "goal" and you are not referring to football, that game is called Sucker (or some similar spelling). Your game is one where you kick the ball around for 80 minutes and nobody wins or one team thrashes the other 1-0!
      1 1 was a racehorse.
      2 2 was 1 2.
      1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
      2 2 1 1 2

Rugby, now that is a game played by men. Sockher is played by members of the male species who after kicking a goal, have to find another member of their team and almost tongue wrestle each other. Now rugby men act like men after scoring and shake hands or get a pat on the back. Rugby is a game for intellectuals, sockher is for people who like hitting things with their heads. No queer eyes for a straight guy in a real man's game. All Blacks reign supreme. I thought the Dutch played well in last years World Cup, Dumber, quite impressive for a non world power rugby country.

Hey Tony, a sockher ball in the face is really going to improve one's beautiful looks.
                  1 1 was a racehorse.
                  2 2 was 1 2.
                  1 1 1 1 race 1 day,

Lol! Very true much of what you said but with it being the most popular team sport in the world, you are always going to find "people who like hitting things with their heads" supporting and playing it.

Remember that rugby started by Mr William Webb-Ellis who couldn't play football so instead he picked up the ball (in the middle of a match i might add!) and started to run with it! "Oh look everyone, Webb-Ellis has invented a new game!" - In my school that game would have been lets all kick the s*** out of Webb-Ellis!

Tonyyeb, i played rugby.... until i got a heavy knee injury. currently working on it to find my way back to the fields... still thinking i'm ugly? :P

hahaha Biggles, well it's a sport where i never heard of it until 8 years ago. quite soon after it, i started to love that game. i started as a flanker, and a year later i was a tighthead prop (different team)

there asked me twice for a training selection of the young Dutch team, but twice ive got a heave injury.

after that, i still following rugby, but the dutch guys, well about 4 years ago, i saw them playing against england.. what a disaster.. to scared to tackle, a lot of forewarding while passing.. afraid to setup a ruck or a moll

i didn't follow last year a lot... very busy with work, so maybe they start learning it

tonyyeb, you're right about the invention, although is a kind of rumour..
                      see: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sportacademy/h...00/3152418.stm

i also like soccer very much, but my hart goes to rugby...

                      oh biggles, one question...
i still looking for a nice shirt of the all blacks, but all i can find is the new model, those very tight and smooth shirts.. well i don't like those, so im looking for the older model... do you know if it is still for sale?
