  • Vista x64 cannot contact printer, error 0x0000007e

I have Windows 2k3 Server that has HP LaserJet 3050 attached to it, and shared. Drivers are HP Universal Printing Drivers PCL5, and everything works fine for users running XP Pro and Vista x86. Vista Business x64 users cannot connect to it, and all I get is error 0x0000007e. I tried to install HP UPD x64 on those client machines, but still after the install, I get the same error.

Anyone has any idea what can I do?

you need to install the x64 print drivers on the server.
Go to printers, file, server properties.

They're installed. That page with additional driver has checked x86 and x64 drivers installed..
