    i'm looking for the run command in the start menu on vista os?

    can some help me how to find that command

    there is none, just type your "command" in the search box and hit enter. but do it quickly before it searches

      Well, I've got it showing on mine...

      Right click Start Button, go to Properties
      Click CUSTOMISE in the Start Menu Tab
      Tick box to show RUN command is about 2/3 of the way down the list

      Also note CMD is the WinNT command prompt -- IIRC more features than COMMAND, which runs the DOS prompt

        Or else you can try to get familiar in using
        WinKey+R
        to pull up the run box

          Which reminds me of a tech support call I carried out yesterday - customer couldn't get into her database. Diagnosis was that she had a writing pad pressing down on the keyboard, specifically on the Windows key, so whenever she pressed the "R" key the Run dialog box came up.

          You can't shoot 'em, you can't live without 'em.

            I love those calls.
            There isn't anything really seriously wrong. Yet you still get to help out.
            I don't know anything about (you or your) computers.
            Research/test for yourself when listening to free advice.
