  • Lpksetup File

Using Windows Vista Ultimate i have after each restart a Lpksetup file as this one today "lpksetup-20070826-202328-0.log" in my temporary folder.

Then after a month or several days (too) many files.

After some investigations, that seems to be a Language Packs log file genrated thru Lpksetup.exe available with all default Windows installations.

But why all those logs files ? And why in the Task Scheduler under Microsoft / MUI can we find an active Lpremove task, is it an other bug ?

Is it a clue to desactivate or suppress automatically those logs files and do you have more informations about the differents standards tasks ?

    Thanks in advance.

        Hi Eric,

I myself do not know anything about that being a bug or not, but it's good to know it helped!
