Does any know the MS link to get a list of drivers provided on the Vista Home disk before I lash out on a new PC with Vista Home. I would like to know if a new driver comes for my Speedtouch Broadband Modem, because my server does not seem interested in providing one. They only produce a complex list of instructions which might or might not help you reinstall the Modem under Vista.

Why do you think you need drivers for the modem?
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.

    2 2 1 1 2

As I understand it you often need new driveres for everything each time they dream up a new version of Windows. In fact the Speedtouch Modem site warns you to download a new driver for Vista, but It would be nice to check it is already there on the Vista CD

What is your SpeedTouch model number and what sort of Broadband do you have? ADSL, Cable or other? Is the modem connected to the PC by USB connection or the ethernet connection?

            Re: Vista Drivers

There's your problem, get rid of your usb high speed modem.
unless you do NOT have a network card installed on your computer there is no other need for a usb broadband modem.
if you DO have a nic card then call your ISP and get a modem that supports ethernet connections. no need for drivers at that point.

btw usb modem < ethernet modem

            BIG TIME!!!!
