  • Create a seperable toolbar

In XP, I used to create a new toolbar on the Task bar, then move it to the top of the screen, where I configured it as an Office Shorcut Bar- configuring it for Always On Top and Auto Hide. I then copied all the Office icons to it.

I am trying to do the same on Vista but can't detach the new toolbar from the Task bar. Is there a way to do it?

    Re: Create a seperable toolbar

I think you are maybe better trying it in the side bar.

The gadets are pretty easy to write, if you need to, but I think you have a pre-written one for Office.

    Hope this helps
