  • Installation and sharing of the apps

    Hi

With Windows 8.1 Update, if I wanted to install an app and share it among all users of the same computer, what would be the best method?

How do I update these shared apps?

Is it possible to share an app (already installed) between two or more accounts belonging to the same computer? If so, it is also possible to maintain separate the settings of these apps for each user?

    Thanks

    Bye

Re: Installation and sharing of the apps

It appears to be possible by linking the user account to a different store account.

These links may give you some clues:

Apart from cost (and if that is an issue you must be the only paying customer in the app store), what is the problem with users setting up their own accounts?

Apparently, the procedures mentioned above share the apps between the various user accounts of a computer, but then, every user will always install them alone. Right? Is there a way to prevent this?
