  • Displaying all users accounts in the Login Screen

    Hi

I am looking for a manual procedure without side effects, working with every edition of Windows 8.1 Update 1, to display the Login screen with all users accounts?

    Thanks

    Bye

AFAIK the same registry hack from Windows 8 still works:

(not sure what you mean about "without side effects", but I am guessing it is something to do with exactly the same question you asked about Windows 8 a year ago: http://forums.petri.com/showthread.php?t=63452 so I would start by reviewing that again)

In fact, for all your 8.1 questions, review your post history as they all have a very familiar sound to them

This procedure is identical to the third procedure of this link http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials...ndows-8-a.html . Am I wrong? If not, look at his Note pane to see the side effects that I want to avoid them?

So, I want to find a manual process to do this but without those side effects.

      Thanks

Re: Displaying all users accounts in the Login Screen

Can't you train your users to press the "Back Arrow" to switch user?

It is not exactly rocket science and (with the suitable application of electric shocks or similar) even the stupidest user should eventually pick it up.

I have to say, most of your "questions" on Windows 8 (and 8.1) appear to be making mountains out of molehills and trying to do things that don't really fit with the "windows way" of doing things. What sort of environment are you working in that this suddenly becomes so important?

HA! If your users can't figure out how to log in, perhaps having them work on a computer isn't such a good idea. XD
