  • Find the local group policy editor

    Hi

In all editions of Windows 8, there is the local group policy editor? If so, how do I find it?

    Thanks

    Bye

There are a few ways to get to it but easiest is press the windows+r keys together.
Type in the run box gpedit.msc
This is the same for most versions of windows.

I do tend to think 'outside the box' so others may not always share the same views.

There is no gpedit.msc in the Home Premium Edition.

In the professional or ultimate editions of Windows 8 press Winkey + Q (search for apps) and type gpedit.msc.

And if you are unlucky enough to have Home Premium Edition then this should help you to enable it.
