  • Set up User account to only go to one webpage

    Hi all,

    I have a number of people that do not have user accounts, but need computer access for training purposes. Training is through a website.

    What I would like to do is create a user account that is pretty much locked down - no desktop icons etc. - but can go to a single training website and no others.

    Anyone have any idea on how to do this?

    You can set IE (other browsers are available) as an alternate startup shell using http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3...with-a-wpf-app

    Obviously put the training site as the only home page, but not sure how you could prevent the user browsing to something else

    Are you in a domain - if so GPOs may lock down more

      There's an old but useful article on how to restrict which domains I.E. can connect to by using the proxy settings here:
