  • Cmd to copy between two clients

Hi all , i have a question , if i'm the adminstrator and need to copy data from a differant pc but don't want to use the windows plattform ..... Is it possible to do it in dos ?

Do we have a tool to boot then do this role ?

Do we have a cmd command to copy files between two pcs?

    Thanks

You can use the copy command in DOS but the issue is going to be reading the file format on the local computer.

So why would you want to use DOS? That sounds like a huge pain and you'd need to find all sorts of drivers just to get it to boot...

I need to do it for one reason

Some times when a user have a problem with his laptop or pc and if it is a big problem with the operating system at this point i need to re install windows remotly but before doing that i need to backup his data but also remotly as long as he is connected to my network.

        Robcopy would be my choice.

You mention that you don't want to use the windows platform. What exactly do you mean?
