Test File - 988MB in size.

When logged into the Win7 machine, if I copy/move the test file to/from the 2008R2 machine, I'm getting something on average of ~30MB-50MBMB a second speed (using admin share with ip address - "\\<ip address>\D$\<Folder>"). When I log into the 2008R2 machine and copy/move the test file to/from the Win7 machine, I'm getting ~120MB a second.

The two factors I can think could be causing this is the onboard controller of the Win7 machine and/or OS difference. That said, the controller itself, can pull and push faster since it will do so on when performing the file transfers on the Server2008R2 box.

    Any takers on this one???
