  • CTRL/ALT/DEL on Mac Keyboard

    Hi,

My daughter has a rather funky PC ... it's really nice; I built it for her, all transparent and white and stuff.

Recently, on the basis that someone said (on Amazon) that it worked fine with Win 7 I bought her an Apple Keyboard ... the problem is that seems to be no way to do a real CTRL/ALT/DEL.

Anyone know of any way to make a Mac keyboard (domain based Windows 7 pro, no Mac OS in sight) do the three finger salute so my daughter can log on?

    Thx

Hmmm ... how about bypassing the CTRL-ALT-DEL automatically and displaying the last user?

I know that sounds like it's insecure and of course it is but we're only talking about a home domain here so that level of security isn't that big a deal.

Either alt apple esc or command option esc
Gotta be one of those is hard because the Mac keyboard doesn't have the same ASCII sequence as a PC keypad of course the numbers letters and Chris are the same but that specific function is not part of the Mac arsenal on a Mac is the equivalent of force to quit pretty much close to what the task manager does.

        Good luck.
