  • Restrict individual file size within a folder

On each system users are restricted so that any file they download via SCP, FTP, etc. must be stored in c:\datain.

For security reasons we need to make sure that none of the files that they download to this directory are over 1MB.

Is it possible to restrict that somehow?

I had thought of profile size limits, then excluding all directories except for c:\datain but that seems like the wrong way.

    Any suggestions?

I don't think there is anything native that can do this for you.

I know you can use Quota's to resrict the folder size in general but not actual file size.

If you can force them to save to a server, you can use FSRM to scan for, and then delete, large files. I don't think this can be applied to clients, though
