  • Windows 7 upgrade problem

    Hi all,

    i've purchased windows 7 upgrade ultimate that claims it can upgrade ANY previous version of windows.
    i have this mini laptop, Acer Aspire One that was purchased with preinstalled windows XP Home addition in Hebrew and my upgrade wasnt sucssesful and it recomended to check for on line solutions, so here i am, any idea??

    Where did you purchase this copy of Windows 7?

    I would suggest backing up any data you don't want to lose and doing a clean install, assuming that the copy of Windows 7 will allow that. I would also suggest making sure you have 2GB RAM on the Aspire One otherwise it shall be more painfully slow than it would normally be on that device.

    Alternative would be to go back to XP.
