    Display/ hide the Explorer preview pane

    Windows Logo+G
    Display gadgets in front of other windows

    Windows Logo++ (plus key)
    Zoom in, where appropriate

    Windows Logo+- (minus key)
    Zoom out, where appropriate

    Windows Logo+Up
    Maximize the current window

    Windows Logo+Down
    Minimize the current window

    Windows Logo+Left
    Snap to the left hand side of the screen

    Windows Logo+Right
    Snap to the right hand side of the screen

    Windows Logo+Home
    Minimize/ restore everything except the current window

          I don't quite understand your point here?


          Cntrl-W will close a browser window.
          Do you mean if the web page is not loading?

          Or was the rest of your comment "waiting for a reply" supposed to be a thinly veiled comment about the fact that maybe people on this forum don't answer immediately, and you get so bored of waiting for a reply from us that you need to close the window in frustration?

              • Right SHIFT for eight seconds (Switch FilterKeys either on or off)
              • Left ALT+left SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN (Switch High Contrast either on or off)
              • Left ALT+left SHIFT+NUM LOCK (Switch the MouseKeys either on or off)
              • SHIFT five times (Switch the StickyKeys either on or off)
              • NUM LOCK for five seconds (Switch the ToggleKeys either on or off)
              • Windows Logo +U (Open Utility Manager)

                Thanks for your tips, I 'd like to recommend you another tips:
                In the search box in the Start menu, type C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT and press Enter. (Note: If Windows 7 is installed in a drive other than C:, use that letter instead.)

                      I use window + E to see my computer and window + D to see desktop. It is quicker! Thanks

                        Taskbar Modifiers (New in Windows 7)
                        Shift+Click Open a new instance of the program
                        Ctrl+Click Cycle between windows in a group
                        Middle Click Open a new instance of the program
                        Ctrl+Shift+Click Open a new instance of the program as Administrator
                        Shift+Right-Click Show window menu

                          • [Windows] + [SHIFT] + up arrow OR [Windows] + [SHIFT] + down arrow (Aero Snap)
                            Maximizes and restores selected window in vertical dimension only.
                          • [Windows] + [Tab] (Aero Flip)
                            Launch 3D representation of open windows and click [Tab] key again to flip through them.
