  • Automatically switch power plans

    Hi and Hello,

I have a question for all you Petri.co.il gurus ...

For the need of lowering power consumption in my company, I've decided to implement power schemes that will put the computer into hibernate after an hour of inactivity.

But, I want that Power Plan to be activated at a certain time of day ( 18:00 )... Is there any way that I can define that via GPO?
    Just gimme an Idea ...

    Thnx

Are they all 7, or are some 7, some Vista, some XP?

Try creating a script to run at 18:00 using the above link with the info you need to make the script.

      They are mixed ...

Currently testing Group Policy prefrences .... There are some Item-Level targeting where I can set the time of day, when the preference will be applied.

      Cheers!
