  • 7 or XP issue with power settings

I have about 30 users that use 1 PC at different times. I need to set all there power setting to not shut off.

How can I do this with using a default user profile since they all already have a profile created. Can you do this global for the machine?

    This might help:

Read the response by Auto_Carr. There are other responses too.

It also discusses the powercfg tool. This page has instructions for use with Win2003, but you can use it in a batch file and place the batch file in the all users startup folder in:

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

The second part of my answer lacked the link explaining powercfg usage:

        Sorry about that.
