  • Print Spooler stop after I start it

    Anyone have ideas as to why when I start the print spooler it dies after a few minutes. and if you have an idea as to the why do you have another as to how to fix it

    Try a newer driver... That worked for me

      no that isnt it I wasnt able to add a printer until I was able to start the spooler and it not shutdown

        Any errors in the Event Viewer?
        Have you tried inserting the Windows 7 DVD, booting and running the Repair tool?

          when i had this problem with my new printer, i deleted all the drivers and then re-installed the driver just for that printer.

            I went ahead and did a system restore back to last week it took care of my issue thanks everyone
