  • How to combine 2internet line in win7?

I had been read a forum that mentioned about connecting 2 internet lines together with windows 7 and the result is that speed equal to ISP1+ISP2 (like link aggression), but I can't get that result

    My current setting is
    Local Area Connection
IP : 192.168.1.3/24 (assign by DHCP)
    DNS+Gateway : Obtain

    ISP Speed : 2.5 Mbps
    Connection type : CAT5e

    Local Area Connection2
    IP: 192.168.2.1/24 (assign by DHCP)
    DNS+Gateway : Obtain

    ISP Speed : 4 Mbps
    Connection type : CAT5e

are you CERTAIN you read you could do this ?

what sort of internet line were they talking about ?
because no matter how you configure your windows 7 computer, the ISP still needs to support you addijng the two devices together. most of them don't.

wow.. if that works, fully, ..... that's.. really cool. I've been waiting 5 minutes now for your link to load though..

You mention you have used bit torrent to test... and that you're acheiving 600+ KB/sec with bit torrent

what i'd like to know is if you can sustain a download from say, technet, or aarnet, at 600KB/sec. If you can -this would definitely be worth investigating at work.

however - i suspect the reason bittorrent works is because of the way it works.. it creates multiple threads to multiple peers at once. with technet, you'd only be able to connect to a single host, and at the network layer side, it shouldn't be possible to split thast traffic, route it across two different networks, and still put it back together..

it just... doesn't make sense to me at the minute, on a network layer end of things

You can't combine, simply upgrade your connection.
2 different gateways will give you issues unless you use something like TMG (load balancing or active/passive)

Edit: your website won't load. I suggest copying the info and create a reference to that website.
