  • Windows 7 Cannot verify Publisher

I'm wondering the same thing. I have injected drivers into Windows 7, and as the machine boots up, I get a dialog box that says, "Windows can't verify the publisher of this device driver" (see attached screen shot). There's got to be a way around this in order to let the deployment run without any user interaction. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Re: How to suppress: Windows Cannot verify Publisher?

Windows 7 RC Ultimate, x86. And yes, I've Googled plenty and can't seem to find a definitive answer regarding setting the driver signing policy in an automated setup.

Hi-jacked thread split from here. http://forums.petri.com/showthread.php?t=38469

Please do not hi-jack other members threads even if your problem is similar or even the same. When replying how are the respondants supposed to know who they are replying to? It also get real confusing when each poster gets a different symptom. The first one was the OP has Vista and you have Windows 7. There ARE 2 different operating systems, similar but different.

        2 2 was 1 2.
