        Just when I got settled into my second RC1 installation. I don't want to do another rip and reload.

          I cant imagine much update from the RC that would make you want to do a clean install again.

          just play and test with it then buy final when its out.

          all the features to test are there ready to be played with, maybe a bit buggy but just pretend its your computer and not the OS

            I'm just downloading it now to test on a machine.

            Question - how do you solve not having the latest 64bit machine to test 64bit OSs on?
            Answer - you wait until the head PC man is away and steal his desktop that's more powerful than most of our servers!!

                  Maybe it's delayed because the Intel/Chkdsk.exe bug
                  Anyway, At the moment it's here 18:30 over here and still no joy...

                    Looks like the RTM is on MSDN now. Still no sign of 2008 R2 as yet that I can see.
