  • Stoping Default shares ???

    Hi Everyone

    How can i stop the default sharing in the

    windows or Is there any service we can stop sop that

    the Default sharing option share will get stop

    Edit the following in Registry

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\LanmanServer\Parameters

    For Workstation:

    AutoShareWks=0

    For Server:

    AutoShareServer=0

    Reboot the machine..........

        Next time use google first. if you don't use it first, and i'll find it within seconds, the topic will be closed.

            Yes, mr Daniel Please listen

            I tried in the Google

            I am just getting the Registry changing

            But i dont want to do it in the Registry

            i want do it like ,when we stop that particular services

            we can also solve the problem

            So that is the reson i post this in the forum

            Because i am not getting this in the google search

            Dont mistake other

              If you looked at my suggestion it had a link to a KB which didn't use the registry at all. AND THAT LINK WAS THE FIRST RETURNED BY GOOGLE!

                When i quote that message:
