          The SAM file is a security file so is in use on a normal boot. You cannot delete it unless you boot from CD/Floppy with an alternative OS

          I assume you need to delete it because you have lost / forgotten the admin password.

          Have you followed the instructions on the main site to try to get a working password back?

          Can you confirm you are trying to get a password sorted out so we can move this thread to the password forum?

            I already solved the problem, however I heard to say that cannot exclude the file SAM, because the system can lose all of the users and groups and me would like to know that is a MYTH or TRUE
