  • How to disable Service Quality Monitoring in XP?

After installing Windows Live Messenger on our Windows XP Pro computers, the system is creating a lot of sqm-files. It looks like a couple of them are created on every startup of Live Messenger.

I have searched the web and found that these files belongs to Microsoft's "Service Quality Monitoring". As I don't want to have hundreds of sqm-files on my system (even if they are hidden), I wonder if any of you guys know if it's possible to turn off Service Quality Monitoring in Windows XP Pro and how to do it.

Had a look around and it would seem that you can delete them with no i'll effects and if you diable the "Customer Experience Improvement Program" feature it stops them re-appearing.

      Thanks for the tip.

Seems like it has to be done for each user-profile. I have most of my users use a common mandatory roaming profile, and after I had updated this with disabling the "Customer Experience Improvement Program" it seems to be working as I wanted. No more sqm-files.
