  • I lost my administrator account

I accidentally created an account with administrator privileges. I couldnt delete it. I booted windows and now i can only login with this new account with administrator privileges. How can i login to the old "Administrator" account? All the preferences are set in there and i really wouldn't like to set them again. And i also hate the login screen. I dont want it to slow down my boot...

This has nothing to do with you forgetting the user's password. Does it?

    Is the Welcome screen activated?

If it is, press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice, then manually enter the old user's credentials.

If it's not, you'll need to supply more info and this thread will be moved to the MISC forum.

Oh, that was easy. I managed to login to administrator account but now i need to change windows to automatically login to that account. In other words i need to disable login. I cant delete my new account with administrator privileges normal way from control panel/user accounts... Sorry about putting this to the wrong forum. I wasnt sure about where to put this topic.
