  • Windows 2000 Pro Start Problems

Last week when I booted up my win 2000 Pro at the office the screen went blue. Now most of my programs won't work. I can still see my files by going through "My computer". I tried downloading fixes & the lastest SP4, but when I reboot it goes back to my May 28 profile and therefore nothing is saved. I have tried & tried system Mechanic 6, but again the reboot problem prevents it from being saved. HELP PLEASE!
    Thanks,
    dnealy

Are you getting any error messages?

Re: Windows 2000 Pro Start Problems

I'm not getting error messages when I try to start my programs, they just simply won't start. I am getting some error messages if I try to print something. It says that there isn't a default printer. So I have to go in and manually select the printer. Sometimes it will print and sometimes not. And of course when I reboot, it all begins over again.
I would appreciate any help you could give.
      Thanks,
      Dnealy
