  • IE crashing on new box! HELP!!!

    Brand new Dell PC (less than a week old). I have 4 users associated with my
    XP home operating system. Whichever the first user is that signs on to the box, they are they one that gets to use Internet Explorer! Until that user logs out, any other user, when they try to access IE gets an error. The error received is:

    Microsoft Visual C++ Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

    This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
    way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

    Any ideas?

    What would cause XP to not allow IE to be shared?

        1. Check any freewares (Yahoo Toolbar/Google Toolbar/Aniti virus) is installed.
        2. If so uninstall all the freewars and reboot the machine.
        3. Verify every thing is fine or not
        4. If not download WINTOOLS from the folowing url and cleanup your system
