  • XP My Docs vs GPO

Not sure if i've got the right category as this is my first post in here, so apologies before I start.

I have created a GPO to redirect my network users my documents to a SAN location, hence all documents are all backed up and safe. But, I'm having issues with "less knowledgeable" users who still have things saved in their C: Drive My Documents which they keep accessing via things like My Recent Documents (which I've now taken away from them) and the fact they can browse to the C: drive and get to their documents that way.

So, I want to be able to restrict them from getting to C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\My Documents but nothing else, has anyone come across this before? or do you have any advice for me to stop the access?

This post seems to cover your scenario.
