  • CD-ROM not recognised after creating XP Pro SP2 slipstream

    Hi,

I tried making an XP Pro SP2 slipstream using the information on this page: http://www.petri.com/windows_2000_xp...pstreaming.htm
I am getting the following error when I tried to install from the resulting CD-ROM. The first part of the install seems to go OK, I get past the point where I enter the serial number, it copies the setup files and restarts the computer. When it then enters the next phase of the setup (after the restart) setup askes me to:
    Insert the CD labeled:
    Windows XP Professional CD-ROM
    into your CD-ROM drive.
    • Press ENTER when ready.

I have the CD in the drive, if I open and close the drive Setup tries to read the CD then returns to the obove error message. Has anyone run into anything like this? Perhaps I missed something in the tutorial...

Something didn't get copied or the disc didn't burn right.
