  • Sysprep - Network Connection settings lost

Hello, first time poster long time reader

I'm imaging Dell Laptops and Desktops with XP SP2 and have an issue I can't resolve.

For my reference image I configure three networking connections:
    - VPN, LAN and Wireless
    - I rename the connections (CompanyName VPN, Co.Name LAN...)
    - I uncheck QOS Packet Scheduler
    - Add to the Append DNS suffixes
    - etc....

Once I boot my image (onto the same hardware during testing) all the above settings disappear.

    Method:
    - Setup the above Network Connection settings for a "Setup" user with Local Admin rights
    - Copy the "Setup" user profile over the top of the "Default User" using the MS profile copy function.
    - [Networking] section of Sysprep set to "InstallDefaultComponents=Yes"
    - Execute Sysprep using GUI - Reseal + Mini Setup
    - Boot machine
    - Add local user with Admin rights
    - Login
    - All customized settings are perfect except Network Connections

My only clue is that during boot Sysprep takes a very long time to process the Default Network section (~5 minutes)

    Here's my Sysprep:
