I would like to create a cd which contains all the windows xp updates, both home and professional editions. This way, if I ever have to reinstall windows xp for any reason, i can simple insert the cd and put all the updates in, of course, with the exception of the ones created after what i have.

If anyone has the site where i can download all of 'em or any ideas about this.. i would be eager to know or learn.

    thanks again

I use Norton Ghost which helps with reinstalling. I install Windows XP, install any applications my company uses, then do a complete Windows Update and then do a snapshot of the system. That way, if I ever have to reinstall, I just dump the standard image, which has recent updates, onto the computer. I just keep an eye on all updates. If I find there are a bunch out there, then I dump the image onto a computer, update it, then take a new snapshot. Might be easier in the long run than updating and burning CDs. Just a suggestion.
