  • rename a resistry key thru a .reg file

I have some users that connect to Our Database thru Citrix. Sometimes they get an error stating "Connection canot be established as there are no terminal server licenses are available". To solve this issue i rename / delete the old MS licensing key at the users side under HKLM/software/microsoft. (This is not a permanent solution but it works good.)

I am looking for a way to rename the MsLicensing Key through a .reg file or by a batch file. I googled and found a way to delete a paticular key but could not find a way to rename it.

Can you let me know how to rename a resistry key thru a .reg file ?

FYI : Client Operating System : Windows XP
Server Operating System : Windows Server 2003

You could always buy the correct number of licenses, couldn't you?
