    ok, a bit more information?

you're trying to download an application from Trend Micro. But you're getting an error stating you cannot access the file or device?

Have you tried using "save" instead of Download and then running the application?

If you think you have a virus, download the removal tools on a different PC and burn them to CD. Most "good" viruses will try ty block any attempt to remove them

Have you tried running it in Safe Mode?

        What are you infected with?

did you try a system restore.

If you are able to install an application in safe mode then try a scan with MALWARE bytes

But - note that MalwareBytes does not detect viruses.

Re: Virus make your access permission disables

It is true that malware bytes does not scan for virus but malwares are known to cause this sort of situation. at least i experienced some at my work place.

you can try either a registry restore or system restore or a repair from windows cd. finally if nothing goes then look out for a clean installation of O/S.

I recommend you go for a windows repair. Anyways what O/s and service pack you are using
