  • Strtup order

    hi everybody.

I have a q I would like some help with, if somone could be so kind.

What determines in which order that services and the programs in the run folder starts up during boot? Those they all start at once? The reason I'm asking is that i would like windows wireless application to start as early as possible in the process. Because then the programs that need a network connection would get that.

You can't specify the order in which most services start but what you can do is set service dependency.

So all your app(s) that require the wireless service can wait until it's started until they try and start themselves.

Also their are probably a lot of services that are running that don't need to be, this is usually the case with most systems. try an msconfig and disable what you know you dont need.
