  • a problem called " run as "

something happend to the computer: every time i try to run an application ( such as ( outlook , media player etc ) from the quick launch or from the start menu a window is opening and present " run as " menu ( pic no 1 ), and only if i take off the check mark in " protect my computer ......" just then I can operte the application.

i tried to right click the shortcut and again it shows the "run as " as a default , and there is now option of "open " or " run" !!!!!( pic no 2)

additionally , ( and i do not know if this is connected to the previous issue ), whenever i try to scan my hard drives with my NORTON AV it says i have a problem ( pic no 3 ) . I did go to the NORTON technical support center , and run their test , but again with no success. then , i run PANDA free online scan, but it did not find any virus , trojan etc.

i would be very thankfull if someone can help me

Did you search the Norton KB for the error listed on their application?
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2

      Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32

I would say the problem lies with Norton.

What exactly is the error message you recieve from the Norton App???
