  • 16 bit windows subsystem

    Hi everyone.

2 machines that runs xp pro sp2.
On one of them I run, with no problem, some old application that was originally made for win 3.11 and win 95.
when trying to run the same app' on the 2'nd machine I get the massege : "16 bit windows subsystem
c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate the application."
So the 2'nd machine behavior is natural.
How come that the first machine is running this application as if it was written to xp ?
