    Will this help?

Never tried it so no warranty as to performance. However it seems to be freeware

    Also some hacks here: http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...1838905,00.asp

It would help if we knew what you were trying to add

You managed to try both of those options, on XP and Vista, in 5 minutes?
        I'm very impressed

Re: How to customize desktop right click menu in XP

Sorry, my crystal ball must have been U/S again. I completely missed the bit in your original post where you said what you had already tried , or even that you actually HAD tried anything.

However there is a very helpful website called which gives some possible links:
            http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...meta=&aq=f&oq=
            Including this:
            http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/...5508_35_0.html

Once again, it would be very helpful to know WHAT you want to add to the menu

Re: How to customize desktop right click menu in XP

Thanks for your help, but its really hard to do this, I have tried all those methods which I found on web.

              Here is my problem.

When we right click on the blank area of desktop, we get an option menu which contains (see the attachment)

              Arrange Icons By
              Refresh
              Paste
              Paste Shortcut
              Undo..
              Properties

Now I want to add my own program on the same menu, for example I want to add my Inventory system, when i right click on desktop and select that menu it should open my inventory system

I appreciate if any one can provide the solid solution. Please do not send the web search results I have already tried a lot on this

              Thanks

Have you asked the company that designed the program??

They might just have a simple tick-box option..
