  • Want to change Registry key but keep getting an error [Was: Registry]

    Hi ...sorry to bother all expert here again..

    i plan to change few client machine by batch file ( i will convert it into exe)

    i plan to change the value key but it keep prompt me error command.


    e.g. i want to enable the remote desktop connection . The current FDenyTSConnections value is 1, i want to change to 0

    That is what i write in batch

    REG ADD HKLM\system\currentctonrolset\control\terminal server /v fDenyTSConnections /t reg_Dword /d 0


    but it failed.. keep prompting me error ... any idea? tq

    you have a typo in your string

    should be currentcontrolset - you have currentctonrolset.
    I'd also ensure your path is completely correct. i'm not in a position to review the registry layout at the moment.

    Also - could you tell me what the error is ?
