  • no registration key found in the registry (Was:Did my friend do something wrong????)

    How come that its been possible to install WindowsXp Pro , - by my mate, -on my computer, when I find no registartion key in the registry
    ( HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion)( a mapp with his name)

    I need to reinstall( repair) because I need to recover a Ghost copy from an externl disk to a new SATA harddrive (internal)
