Dos Printing

  • Dos Printing

    I write Basic Software using a compiler called ZBASIC. Great program but does not print to USB printers, just parallel printers.

    Does anyone know how to oversome that problem?

    Have you tried mapping the printer to an LPT port?

      in DOS all you can do is send data to eiter lpt1/prn or to port $[378]. USB is capable of neither.
      what you need is a printer with a parallel port (as well as USB), those are still sold everywhere
