  • Dual Monitor question when using accounting software

We are using WinXP Pro with latest updates.
Workstation is a Dell Optiplex 755 small form with dual 19 inch monitors.
    Antivirus is TrendMicro.
User is using Quick books and excel programs. The primary monitor (Start menu and icons) has Quick books program icon on desktop. When the user opens up quickbooks, she moves the report that she is working on to the secondary monitor. The problem comes in when the user tries to reposition
the column of the report. Between the report columns is a little black diamond symbol. Typically when you click on this, it allows you to manipulate the width
of the columns on the report. When the report is displayed on the primary side
monitor, the report can be manipulated BUT when the report is displayed on the secondary monitor you cannot manipulate the columns. Is there a setting or a reason why this is happening?

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Dual Monitor question when using accounting software

Has the Dell got 2 identical video adapters or is one an onboard analogue and the second one digital with a DVI connection?
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2

Re: Dual Monitor question when using accounting software

The Dell has an onboard dual DVI connection. I am using a split DVI cable that came with the computer.
