The version of XP would have been of assistance however, try this. http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_admin_ok.htm

Found it using this article in the Petri IT Knowledgebase. http://www.petri.com/add_the_adminis..._in_xp_pro.htm

I have found resetting the admin password can re-enable the account if you have disabled it. Try one of the tools noted here to see if it helps. It has to be worth a try.

By Default in Vista and Windows XP administrator account remain disable you need to enable them before logging in. Here is process for enabling administrator user in xp and vista.

                1) Write click on my computer and click on manage.
                2) Find local users and group->users and then find the administrator user.
                3) right click on user go to it properties and deselect Account it disabled checkbox.
                4) Now set the password of administrator user and now you are ready to login as administrator user.

For login press ctrl+alt+del it will give you classic login screen give user name as administrator and password and login.

                Thanks

What is the relevance of the link above (http://apdubey.blogspot.com/2009/02/...stination.html) to this thread?
(OK, last part was sort of relevant)

Remember (as I understand it) the OP is locked out because he has disabled the admin account and has no other account with administrative abilities

Boot into safe mode then log in as the Administrator account.

Safe mode will allow you to log into the Administrator account even if it is disabled. Be warned though I have only tried this when there hasn't been any other administrator accounts. If there is it may not work and you may need to use a password reset tool to gain access.

                    Thanks
