  • removing ie7

    I'm having trouble with my hp 5610 all-in on
    There is a possibility that the trouble started with my changing to IE7
    How to downgrade from ie7 to ie6
    Ihave xp pro sp3 , and vista
    thnks

    Is this dual boot?
    (You can't have XP Pro and Vista on the same installation)
    If so, which OS is giving you the problem?

      If, and its a big if, you installed it as a seperate exe then you MAY be able to uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs.

      If you didn't then i have no idea other than using System Restore to take you back.

        Yes, I upgraded the xp's to ie7 from ie6
        The vista installed the ie7 automaticaly, but the printer and the fax are running OK on the vista, the trouble is with the xp's

          Have you checked the Add/Remove Programs console to see if you can remove IE7??

              Certainly on all of our XP systems, IE 7 was installed via automatic updates, and can be removed from Add/Remove programs.

                    When you uninstall IE7 it should revert back to IE6.

                      Dear Mzik,

                      From where u removed IE7??? Is it from add/remove option OR any other way???

                      Please try to remove IE7 from

                      C:\WINDOWS\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe

                      It will rollback you to IE6..
