  • uploading .csv file onto a webserver through excel

    hi all i have a problem,

    i have just updated an excel spreadsheet which has the file extension. CSV and now that i have altered it i want to be able to put it back up on the website but am not sure how to do it. do i save it as a temp file and then reload to the page in question or is there another way,

    just want a quick fix, any help is appreciated

    Fix for what? We need far more details about where you got the data, what format it is in, what application it came from, what you've done to it, and what you want to do with it now.

    By the way - a CSV file is NOT an Excel Spreadsheet. Excel is capable of opening it and displaying it, but it is not a spreadsheet. It is a "Comma Separated Values" text file; used to create tables of data which can be imported by a large number of applications due to its simplicity. Most data-bearing applications have the facility to export and import CSV files.
