  • FTP server on WinXP pro.

    Hi,
i'm trying to make an FTP server on my WinXP pro. I've shared one folder for my FTP files.

i installed the IIS and FTP services and in the IIS managment everything looks good.

my problem is to create a new FTp site, once i've created it i don't succeed to start it, no matter what...

how do i do that ? how do i start a FTP server on my Win so that others can access it?

    thanks alot.

Stupid question but have you tried a restart? And a few other things like disable your firewall software / anti virus etc...? Im surprised nothing shows in the event log.
