  • Can't print testpage after installing XP sp3 (was:sp3 on xp)

After installing sp3 it's not impossible to send a test page.
There is no answer on Microsoft web page.
Is there any solution for the test page problem after installing sp3?

    Tanks.

    inbal,

What do you meant by 'send a test page'??
And, if it is not impossible, what is the problem then?

Of course you are right, what I meant to say was that it is not possible to send a test page.

If ill try to print a document after installing sp3 ill succeed, but, if ill go to a printer's properties and then press 'print a test page' ill get an error massage

What exactly does the poped-up error message say?
Are there also error events shown in the eventViewer.

Have you tried to reinstal the printer drivers (check also if there are new drivers available)

          Re: sp3 on xp

After install win xp sp3 you cannot print a test page
We try to print a test page in a local and network printer.
It's happen at the entire computers that we have been installed SP3 on.
Re install the printer don’t solve this problem

The only way to print a test page is to uninstall WINDOWS XP SP3
          And back to SP2

I have attached the massage that poped-up. When I click the 'yes' button, it opens up the windows help and support. When I click 'no', nothing happens.

This is a known issue, not only yours. It happens on our domain too.
As far as Microsoft Israel is concerned, the issue was escalated to MS-USA. It is not clear so far if it's something related to Hebrew-enabled systems, since I did not see this behavior anywhere else.
Here's a link to the relevant thread (sorry, I only found it in Hebrew) in the Microsoft.Public.IL.Windows discussions group.
