    How do i remove and reinstall IE6 on winxp pro ?

    There's no real way to completely remove then reinstall IE without reinstalling Windows. You can however repair it using an *.inf file located on your hdd.

    Open Windows explorer and browse to "X:\Windows\Inf" folder (X being the drive letter where Windows is installed).
    R-Click "ie.inf" and click Install on the context menu.
    Once the file copy process is complete, reboot the computer.

    The inf file will extract the most recently installed version of Windows from a cached version of the cab files located on your hdd. If this doesn't resolve your problem you may need to repair Windows.

      Set Programme Access and Defaults, instead.

      If IE is removed, other programmes won'y work
